Being in the military can be a particularly stressful occupation that puts major strain on military families, especially with frequent deployments and fighting two wars.
During this 5-hour workshop sponsored by Interchurch Ministries of Nebraska, and featuring representatives from the Veterans Administration, Army One Source, Survivor Outreach Services, and Military Family Life Consultants, you will learn about:
• Military rank and structure
• Mental Health concerns of soldiers and families
• Deployment cycle stressors
• Resources for families and soldiers
• Suicide Gatekeeper QPR training and certification
